Judith is a compassionate and self-motivated mental health professional dedicated to providing client-centered and quality individualized care to adolescents and adults with mental health concerns. Her services encompass evaluating, treating, and managing various psychiatric disorders, including Depression, Anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, Bipolar Disorder, Personality Disorders, Mood Disorders, Eating Disorders, and Schizophrenia. She is particularly passionate about supporting individuals with alcohol, drug, and substance use disorders, employing medications like Suboxone, Subutex, Vivitrol, Sublocade, Acamprosate, Disulfiram, and Naltrexone as part of her treatment approach. Judith takes pride in motivating her clients to make incremental yet positive changes and endeavors to cultivate enduring therapeutic relationships with each individual she serves, drawing upon her expertise to support their journey towards improved mental well-being.

Biography

A psychiatric healthcare professional who is compassionate, honest, self-motivated, and has a proven history of providing culturally competent individualized care to diverse patients and in delivering exceptional patient-centered care with the elderly, adult, children, and adolescent populations. Habibatu Sesay has 15 years’ experience as a healthcare professional and 3.5 years as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in an outpatient setting.

Services provided include comprehensive evaluation, diagnoses, treatment, and continued medication management for psychiatric conditions including but not limited to: Schizophrenia, Bipolar disorder, Anxiety disorder, Major depressive disorders, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorders (ADHD), Post-Traumatic Stress Disorders (PTSD), Personality Disorders, Mood Disorders, DMDD, Substance use disorder (with medications like Suboxone, Subutex, Subsolve, Vivitrol, Sublocade, and Naltrexone), and Wellness coaching.

Habibatu takes pride in providing excellent and evidenced-based care to her patients, collaborate with each individual/family to achieve positive incremental changes. Habibatu obtained her Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certification from Walden University in 2019 and master’s degree in Nursing with certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Walden University in 2019. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in nursing in 2012 from Washington Adventist University, Maryland.
